6YO: That ain’t going to happen.

ME: Don’t say ain’t.

6YO: Why?

ME: Because it’s not a proper word.  It doesn’t sound nice either.

6YO: But people in Texas say it.

ME: Well, you’re not in Texas and they shouldn’t say it either.
