Day four of kitchen remodel.

Here’s where we are:

A couple more drawer faces to be added tomorrow, new faucet and garbage disposal to be installed and plumbing to be reconnected. Other than that, just some touch up to be done on paint. Unless you count the fact that the appliances don’t fit in any more or if you turn and look into the great room it TOTALLY needs a refreshing and new furniture now. And that modern white ceiling fan sticks out like a sore thumb. But, we waited this long for this much, we can wait a bit longer.

Below is a closeup of the countertop. Sorry for the bad lighting…it is night time and one of the other things we need to do is find a better lighting solution. Let’s not go there right now.

I can’t wait until tomorrow when I can liberate my living room of the dishes, pots and pans everywhere and cook a good ole meal in my new kitchen. Then again, I can’t wait to just be able to get a glass of water from my own sink again. Five days. Will we make it? Looks like it. One more day and we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming here.
